Details: I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertible up for sale. Let me start by saying this car is not perfect but needs so little to be great! I will start by listing the bad, It needs an oil pressure sensor (15 bucks at autozone), an 02 sensor and a driver side mirror. An unnamed motorist decided to relieve us of our mirror in a parking lot last winter. All of these things do NOT keep the car from running and purring like a kitten. It has all the power options, nice cloth interior and the top is in good condition. The body is not perfect but still looks good, there are 2 small rust spots, one on the front right fender and one on the passenger rocker. Both are light and a quick and easy fix. It has the 2.7l V6 and auto trans. Don´t be fooled, this is the year that they re-worked all the bad problems with the 2.7 motors and this one is in prime condition and loves to run. It has just over 126k miles but really doesn´t show it. These are hard to find and even harder to find in good condition. I am asking just under what this car blue books for in fair condition. The most important thing is that we still owe on the car, but the dealer we purchased from is right in town and he has the title in hand so transfer will be a snap, no worries there. We were almost to pay off on the car but my wife and I wanted it for a fun toy and with our 4 kids we find we don´t get to enjoy it. Our loss is your gain. I havent bought new stickers for it in two years because i don´t want to insure two cars but allways run it.THE BAD: It will need valve cover gaskets and rear (shocks) struts . Struts are $60 a piece or bolt in struts with spring and all are $180 shipped on ebay. The AC slowly lost its charge and will need recharged. Beside this it is very much driveable and runs good.THE GOOD: I repaced the compleat front end with new Wheel bearings(hubs), front struts, all ball joints, all tie rod ends, brakes and rotors and whatever else it needed to make the front end nice and tight. The engine and trans runs absolutly great with excellent power. The body is pretty solid with only a couple small patches of surface rust. It still looks very much presentable for the age and price.
