Details: Mechanic owned & operated. Serviced regularly. Very very clean for it´s age. Fully loaded options including Infinity Sound and leather seats. Indestructible Mitsubishi 6G72 DOHC 3.0L V6 engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Recently rebuilt transmission, and recently replaced brakes, flex pipe, catalytic converter, and fuel cap. Recently refinished headlights, look like new, crystal clear. Summer tires have low tread, but I will include a summer tire spare with good tread, and an emergency spare, PLUS a full set of studded snow tires on separate rims worth over $500 alone! Fresh inspection sticker from Charlie´s Auto of Amherst in March, passed with flying colors, no check engine light, no nothing. Car has a few cosmetic blemishes and some minor quirks like a broken clock/radio display (the radio, cd, and cassette player still work fine) and a moody passenger side window, but mechanically the car is in superb condition. The only mechanical issue is a slow oil leak, less than a quart every 3000 miles. As long as you do your oil changes regularly, this will never cause you a problem. Functioning heat and AC. This would make a great first car or just something to get you from point A to point B reliably. The engine has 203500 miles on it, but don´t let it scare you. This car is extremely dependable and even now, the old oil when I do my oil changes is never dark. The 6G72 engine is proven to be one of the most reliable long lasting V6 engines ever made, and I´ve seen eclipses come through the shop with 250k miles still plugging along. You could make it through this summer and next winter with the included tires, but will definitely need new summer tires for next year. If you want, I could get you a discount on a set of tires if you bought them with the car. The current set I have on cost me less than $300 through my account with Tire Warehouse. This car came into the shop with a broken cushion spring. The previous owner did not have the money to fix it so I bought the car from him, rebuilt the transmission, and have driven this car for almost 3 years and put about $25,000 miles on it with no issues, commuting to school and work. You can see/ride in the car in Bedford where I live or Amherst where I work. You can drive it with cash in hand. It´s a fairly low ride and has a slightly sporty feel. I like the car and my only reason for selling is that I recently got a promotion and decided to spoil myself with a new one. Otherwise I would trust this car to last me a few more years. Price is slightly negotiable, but don´t lowball me. I´m including alot and this car is well worth the 1700, even without snow tires. KBB suggests well over $2000.
