There´s a dent in the left front quarter panel, big scratch on the hood, radio doesn´t work, odometer doesn´t work, interior is torn up (seats are leather, but in bad shape), rear left window doesn´t roll up, front left headlight is dim, it leaks and smokes oil, and stalls out for no apparent reason sometimes. However the tires are very new, ac blows snowballs, the top is in great shape, and the body looks great other than the 2 above mentioned flaws. Details: 1998 Chrysler Town & Country mini van. I bought this van from the original owner, who was a mechanic so maintenance on the vehicle was great! He also told me he replaced the transmition at 100k miles. Despite the high mileage, it runs great. I´ve never had any problems with it mechanically, other than occasionally having to top off some fluids on long road trips. The previous owner used this van for trips and vacations, as did I, so most all of the miles are highway. AC still works great, leather interior with one tear in the drivers seat. LXi series, which is the highest level option for this model, so it´s loaded with everything that was available to it at the time. KBB alue for this van with these miles and in good condition is $3630.I took it to a mechanic to get checked out, and all he did was replace a hose that looked old and told me it was in good shape. I bought it from Indiana, so it does have some rust underneath. Great van, still has a lot of life left in her. I already have another car and simply have no need for it.
